This refrigerator is only 8 months old and every 6 to 8 weeks the ice machine stops making ice, and I have to remove the bin several times to get it started again. It always seems to run out of ice when we need it the most.......grrr..so frustrating!

I bought this fridge a month ago and the motor literally keeps us up at night and is very loud. The icemaker has stopped working after a month and a half. The logo on the fridge is falling off!!!! We had whirlpool come out two times already and try to fix the issue and it seems like for the technician there is a lot of issues with Whirlpool fridge especially this model. If you notice that the doors on the fridge raider do not lineup!!!! This is also another major issue. Yes, it keeps the food cold but that’s all it does. Good luck trying to pour water as it drips onto the ground. I am much happier with my 10 year old Samsung fridge. It seems like Whirlpool is on its way out of quality and care. There techs are even worse. Today is a holiday and our appointment has been scheduled twice already in one day! I called Whirlpool customer service and they mentioned someone will be call us upon there arrival. Well no duh! What’s the eta ? Pointless

Purchased a little over a year ago. When we changed the filter after 6 months, the arm that pushes out the filter broke. Called the help line and they offered no help. One month after the warranty expired, the ice maker stopped working. Tried all the troubleshooting in the manual, nothing helped. Called regarding the warranty since it was only a month after it expired and was told that I could extend the warranty for a fee, but the ice maker problem wouldn't be covered. Ice maker started working on its own after a couple of days. Now, two months later, the ice maker isn't working again - it's been 4 days so it doesn't look like it's going to magically start working again. We've always had Whirlpool refrigerators and they seem to be poorer quality with each new refrigerator we've purchased over the years-will have to purchase a different brand in the future.
