New replacement filter DA29-00003G does not fit

i have recently purchased replacement filter da29-00003g for my samsung refrigerator. the notch id different from the old one and the new one does not fit.

Samsung has changed water filter mechanism

Bought the filter 3 times. 2 times from Reliable Parts and 1 time from Samsung. The filter top fitting is changed. Samsung said to call a technician and to change the mechanism. Not happy. After spending couple of thousand dollars on a Samsung fridge, and now Samsung changing this mechanism is not good. Product development team, please take note. I still like the Fridge better than other products out there. But something like this causes frustration.

how can samsung change the filter neck so no one can use the filter? the part number is the same but does not fit.

Changed design doesn't fit.

they changed the design. it doesn't fit my fridge. old filter is on the left and new on the right. its the same part number! the website says it fits my rf26xaers.
