LG 30-inch Freestanding Electric Range LDE5415ST

Performance, quality & great look! Infrared in upper stove works outstanding, convection in the lower and 5 perfect elements on top. Couldn?t ask for any more. Great job LG!!

We?ve had our oven for less than two years & the front burner knobs showing low to high have faded & we do not use stove that much & keep it clean with proper SS cleaners. The dials should have been etched in the steel for the price. I contacted LG & they said not under warranty but I could order new knobs from their website. Took a look at the site & knobs are $72/knob & out of stock. Each knob has a part showing temp missing so that would be $72 x 5 = $360.00. That?s 1/5 of the cost of the oven & they are out of stock (not that I want to pay). Can?t even boil a pot of water / cook an egg on the one side cause can?t see ?HI or LOW?. Would have thought quality would have been better as well as LG in standing behind their product considering receipt I submitted showed I bought higher end fridge & DW. Not that impressed as looks good but now I can?t properly use stovetop. If knobs have to be replaced every couple years, that?s like spending over $6k for the oven (if i5 lasts 10 years)

I bought a similar version of this model in 2016 and I can tell you I would never buy another LG again. To me it is just as bad as Maytag..... it won't last more than one year so not worth the money or aggravation.

First time we used the cleaning cycle it blew the range's thermostat,completeley unusable till part was replaced. Tech mentionned that this would probably happen every time. Convection oven not working properly,tech said temp normal , we then noticed that convection fan was not working, part ordered and is back ordered.We do not know how many more months we will have to wait for repairs. Called LG for support and complaint and told to contact repair company, nothing they coud do. Guess life is good for them , so forget customer satisfaction.

This oven is so easy to use and keep clean. This is my first double oven and I love it. I love having the choice of oven size. Having multiple timers is so handy. There are also some preset cooking settings that make this oven so easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.
