• Had to ADD the basic ice maker. Amana: We paid $1499+$100 "to add" the ice maker. I hope this is normal pricing. It seemed high for such a basic model, honestly. Small town appliance company (you know how that goes, right to the penny). • Got it delivered within the same day. I credit the small town appliance company for that with an additional $120 delivery charge (paid to delivery company), they hooked up the water to the icemaker. [The waterline was already there] • We did not have to order the fridge and wait. We bought it directly off the floor. • Did not get any extended warranty and think it is an OUTDATED concept. • Fairly loud compressor/motor running noise when in operation. In our American society with the TV normally blaring in the background of a regular 2000 sq ft house you might not notice it. But we do because we don't watch TV. I suspect Amana knows the motors are loud. • The Fridge door is difficult to pull open, honestly, (hard to pull) because the fridge provides a vacuum. I suspect it will loosen up over time. • Although the unit was leveled with the floor, the door continues to swing fast to the side when opening and we find ourselves having to catch it so it doesn't swing into anything. • I like the simple operation • Functional fridge with keeps everything nice and cool. • The lower pull door freezer is great, could use a little more room. But it's an easy reach for ice in the standing position.

When our previous refrig/freezer quit making cubes. it was time to go shopping. I really disliked our side-by-side (other brand) refrig/freezer due to it's poor organizational design and when we found your product, it was an easy decision. We have had this unit for about 6 weeks now, and my heart smiles every time I open it! It is such an easy access, bright inside and so easy to see what I am looking for, that I can't believe I put up with the predecessor for so long! I LOVE this product and proudly show anyone coming to see us what a great unit it is. I also praise the store we purchased it from, for their service at delivery, installation, and follow-up is tops! The easy to clean and sturdy shelving will keep me smiling for years to come. Thank-you!

My first time with an Amana, very pleased with my purchase.

Purchased this refrigerator due to space requirements in my home. It is very roomy for it's size and has been working perfectly for 8 months. Great freezer capabilities and temperature control.
