only one double element

i have been away for 5 weeks and a ;neighbour was checking my apt. a big upset one day she came in and oven was on and had to be unplugged. this is a very bad thing and i do not want this range as i would be afraid to leave it alone - oven temp was over 400 as i had a thermostat in oven. no controls showed this was on. is this quality - not for me.

The worst

I have only had this oven since Tuesday. My husband and I bought 3 whirlpool appliances (fridge, oven and dishwasher). We hate the timer alarm. It is so quiet that we can't even here it unless we are in the kitchen. It also shuts off after beeping once. I wish we could have our old whirlpool oven back. We should have done more research when selecting this one. It has no light on top (which we loved on our old one for cooking). It also has no electrical outlets (our old one had one on each side). We are do disappointed. I wish we could return it. Do not buy!
