Cheap, Cheap, Cheap

Just arrived in my house yesterday, the drawer comes with one divider. Really Whirlpool?? I had a Whirlpool washer/dryer with pedestals for 12 years, just replaced with a new set, the new pedestal/drawer comes with one divider and my old set had two. As usual, consumers are expected to accept less product/service nowadays, does this extra divider really cost Whirlpool a lot of money? Seems like a small price to pay to keep happy, loyal customers. Also, the "silver colored" handle/drawer pull on the front is painted PLASTIC. My old pedestals had a smooth finish on the handle area and were the same color as the pedestal, much, much better quality. Whirlpool, don't paint something plastic to make it look like chrome, this just screams CHEAP. I'm disappointed that Whirlpool would cut corners and not deliver the same good product/service to consumers today as they did 12 years ago. However, they know consumers have no choice but to buy this pedestal to fit their new washer/dryer because the sizes do not match my old washer/dryer. I am seriously considering returning this whole washer/dryer setup to the store and never buying the low quality Whirlpool products again. Oh, did I mention that these pedestals(plastic boxes) cost about $200 EACH. WOW!
