First cooktop stopped working after two weeks

I purchased the cooktop one month ago. After the the first two week, the cooktop quit working. Called LG, who wasn't much help, insisted that I call an electrician to check the power before they would do anything further. I did that, which the power was just fine but had to pay $125.00 for the electrician. The store that I bought the cooktop came and replaced it, no thanks to LG.

Fun and easy to use

The unit worked great till we had a power surge/outage and it messed up the main switching unit and it would not turn on. LG had a repairman out the day after I called in and after he pulled the unit and put it back together it turned on but is not stable. He stated that the main panel needs to be replaced. It is on order and scheduled for replacement on May 6th.

Black is beautiful compared to a white cooktop

I bought this cooktop on 4.4.2019 because I have an LG refrigerator that is the best. I was replacing a white Dacor cooktop that was malfunctioning, turning off at will while I was cooking. Installation was simple. After two weeks, however, without warning, all the lights on the control panel started flashing. I had to flip the circuit breakers twice, kind of like rebooting a computer. The problem has not recurred but that experience has made me nervous about it being faulty... I will see.

Easy clean and simple sleek design

I?ve had about a month, easy to use and clean. I?d give it a lower rating though because one day it wouldn?t turn off and the customer service wasn?t too helpful
