Good alternative to over the stove models

Works fine and is installed into the side of the kitchen island. Difficult to see the menu screen unless there’s good ambient light and you’re eye level to controls. Nevertheless a good alternative to allow for a cleaner design over the stove

I purchased this and had installed in early October and it works just perfect, cetrtainly not your parents microwave!

Broke in less than two years

The heating element( magnetron?) went out after about 18 months. The warranty is for 12. I have owned several less expensive models that outlasted this one. I thought I was buying a higher end product and was seriously wrong. When I remodeled my kitchen I purchased a microwave, double oven and refrigerator which were all Kitchen Aid.
