JennAir 48-inch Freestanding Dua-Fuel Range with JennAir® Culinary Center JDRP548HL

I bought this range several months ago. I can actually bake now that I have an oven with the correct temperature. Love it!

After spending $12,000 for a beautiful range, I was expecting - at a minimum - that I could cook with it. I've had the range now for 4 months, and it's worked properly for about 5 DAYS TOTAL. First, I had a "cooling fan speed low" warning and the oven kept shutting down and beeping at me. Called service, 3 weeks later, they replaced the fan, and it worked for about 5 days. After 5 days, the new cooling fan started buzzing loudly, and then failed AGAIN. Then randomly I started getting "Temp Sensor fail" errors. These continued, and I called service AGAIN. They came back out and said it needed a new Main computer, new fans, and new temp sensors. That was 6 weeks ago, and the parts STILL aren't in. I cant cook with either oven, and every day and night randomly, it starts flashing yellow lights and playing an error tone, which cannot be silenced. Its making us CRAZY. This is a BRAND NEW $12000 RANGE!! Jenn Air says they won't replace it with a new one even though this range is CLEARLY a lemon. ALSO, I don't love the fact that there is no way to see or control the timer without a cellphone. This range is unable to be used without a smartphone unless you only need basic functionality without probes or timers. Very unhappy with this purchase.

We bought this range as apart of our new house and couldn't be happier. The style and look is amazing and we are always getting compliments on it. It was easy to set up and the features are perfect. Ovens are very accurate on temperature, burners are easy to control and griddle works flawlessly.

First we fell in love with this stove and it is one reason we bought our house. The idea that a stove ran with a phone app intrigued my husband but I was skeptical. The App is terrible! There really needs to be some type of time or temperature readout on the stove - really cooks use about 3 or 4 at a time, especially on something like this. Yes we have tried the microwave, yes we have tried the app, yes we have used Siri, Alexa, and all of the possible substitutes but really this stove needs both time and temperature readouts. The technology on the App is just not there yet. Maybe an App update would help but even just the concept of finding your phone while you are cooking, unlocking, etc, is too much for a busy cook. It needs to be simpler than that.

It looked ominous before my first use...read some directions...super easy....and fun to use!
