Bad control board in delivery

I waited 6+ weeks for delivery. When installed noticed a outward dent/bubble in the door. Oven never heated over 350. Had service company come out and bad control board. Still waiting on part to be delivered to factory and then to company and then to my home. Hopefully I will love it after all the problems at fixed. Very expensive stove/oven to not work so soon.

Flawed design

Within two weeks of moving into our new construction home, our unit started beeping and blinking orange non stop. We had to turn it off at the breaker. It took a week and a half for a technician to come out and then it took two more trips after that for them to fix it. The final fix is what I believe is a design flaw in the controller. There are two center knobs for the type of operation (e.g. Bake) and the temperature (e.g. 400 degrees). There is an additional button to the left for the Light and one to the right for Start. The error code was F2E1, which means stuck button. The light button did not click and the start button did. So we removed the panel and the controller worked fine with manual finger presses. However, when mounted to the front panel, the screws are only in the middle. The buttons barely push down and the controller must be perfectly flush for it to work. With the screws in the middle, tightening them ever so slightly bows the unit just enough that the buttons are out of range. We spent 4 weeks with a broken $8000 oven beeping at us because the light button was 0.5mm away from being pressed. Originally, we downloaded the app and synced to wifi hoping we could get an error code as this unit doesn't have a screen. Connecting it was a frustrating process in and of itself and we had to hit a reset button on our a router to get it to work, which we found from a random support request online. Then, the app was useless. It tells you nothing. I spent about 6 hours total with our technician to figure it out. The customer facing user manual is useless. It says call support. Support has no idea, so they call a technician. Technician has no idea, because these units are brand new and not thought out. So finally, we find a TECHNICIAN'S MANUAL that says for technicians only. This thing then tells us how to enter a debug mode to get the error code. With two second pauses inbetween, you turn the left center knob something like Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left, Right... then it starts blinking your error code. When the WIFI bar is lit, the number of flashes is the F code. When the REMOTE bar is lit, the number of flashes is the E code. Cool, so F2E1. Except it repeats so our technician thought it was like F9E8 or something, which I totally understand the confusion. So here we are. No one on customer support can help at all. They'll schedule you weeks out to get it fixed. There is no error code you can report and they hide any useful information inside a private TECHNICIAN'S ONLY manual. As an engineer myself, I find this incredibly frustrating. We replaced the controller with one where the button can press it, but I feel like it's only a matter of time until it goes south again. Most expensive oven I have ever owned and already the least reliable. Hidden Konami codes and morse code is a terrible way to do exception handling.
