Hi I purchased this Range Hood a year ago, didn’t read all the reviews with the same issue. Shame on me!!! Installed the Range anyway while the filters is not supplied when ordered tried to order them they are never in stock and you can not find these filters anywhere!!! I spent countless time with Customer Service with no results and no alternative a bunch of run around speaking to people in different departments. Why would you continue to sell a product that cannot perform correctly or you don’t make the proper accessories for this model to perform efficiently???
Purchsed this vent only to discover charcoal filters not supplied. WHy wouldn't GE supply a pair to start you off with. I have been unable to use my new appliance for 1 month now. Posts stating the same are years old - why has this issue not been resolved. WHne are parts due in?
I purchased the charcoal filters JXCF72 and they do not fit. Where can I find the correct size filters? I would not buy the ductless range hood as it does not come with filters and finding the correct ones seem impossible.
I recently purchased and installed the GE range hood (JVW5301). The hood was easily installed and looks great. However, the charcoal filter for the chimney when used as non-duct needed to be purchased separately. I ordered the filter pack of 2 as recommended for the hood. When I received the filters, they had been replaced by a substituted filter, which were much larger than the dimensions of the hood. Subsequently, the filters are worthless since they will not fit the hood as recommended by GE. I tried calling their “parts” telephone number and am still waiting on an answer to my query.
