Frigidaire Gallery 27-inch, 3.8 cu. ft. Built-in Single Wall Oven with Convection FGEW276SPF

I am so happy I searched the internet before purchasing my oven or I would have never found this gem. I knew I wanted a side open door, but was told only one manufacturer made such a wall oven for the home unless I wanted to go up to a commercial grade oven - all of which were very expensive. However, I happened to do an internet search for side open door wall ovens and low and behold this Frigidaire model popped up. No appliance store within 50 miles of my home had this model on the floor for me to see, so I bought it sight unseen with very little information or previous reviews. The small, independent appliance dealer with the lowest price around was able to get it in stock and delivered to me within two days. (It took longer for my contract builder son to get around to installing it for me.) I couldn't be happier! This wall oven is everything I was hoping it would be - easy access, efficient, convection, self cleaning, heat probe - all the bells and whistles and a pleasure to use at a fraction of the cost of other side door open ovens. It seems so much safer to use also since the cook is not reaching over a hot oven door to remove food.

We purchased and installed this new oven to replace our 20 year old Gallery build in oven. The new oven fit perfectly. We also like the improvements made to the Gallery oven, larger inside width, sturdier door with two latches, and new and improved control council with added features.

1st one delivered with broken glass, 2nd front metal door does not match upper trim and door came in bent. Love the fact that it opens from the side. Not sure why more mfgrs. make side open ovens. You don't have to lean over and hurt your back or burn you body.

I purchased this item to replace my old oven. It works beautifully and my baking now comes out the way it should. It heats quickly, maintains even temperature, is veery spacious. The racks are heavy enough to handle heavy pans with ease. The side opening door makes removing pans very easy and safe. I no longer have to reach over a hot door to reach hot pans The oven is extremely easy to clean, even without using the self cleaning features of the oven. It cools down quickly and when in use, the exhaust from the vents is almost cool and helps keep the kitchen from getting to hot. I would recommend the oven to anyone and I already have ever to all my friends!

This was the only reasonably priced swinging door oven. Being in a wheelchair makes it easy to use and access. I truly feel very safe using this oven. GREAT JOB FRIGIDAIRE.
